Our dear friend Rossana Calbi is first of all an incredible curator. Artist Marco was featured in the Art for a Cure exhibition at the HulaHoop in Rome, curated by Rossana, and helped us to collect new funds for the research.  Read the interesting interview and art conversation Rossana and Marco had, published on Design with Love. 

La nostra carissima amica Rossana e' prima di tutto, una talentuosa curatrice. Marco Rea, artista che ha esposto alla mostra Art for a Cure all'HulaHoop di Roma, sostiene la nostra causa con la sua straordinaria arte. Mattia is still in the hospital but our great artists and supporters have sent new artworks to help us. They are all already in our shop, check it out!

Mattia e' ancora in ospedale, ma i nostri amici artisti e grandi supporters ci hanno inviato nuove opere per aiutare la nostra causa. Sono gia' nel nostro store!

We are very pleased to see that Art for a Cure, our upcoming exhibition in Potenza, appeared on important press, horray! 

Siamo molto contenti di vedere che la nuova mostra Art for a Cure che a breve aprira' a Potenza, e' apparsa su diversa stampa importante, hurra'!

Few days ago Mattia had pneumonia that apparently seemed to have improved, but caused a respiratory failure instead. Luckly, we had all the necessary to reanimate him and we were able to manage such a dramatic situation. Shortly after, an ambulance came and Mattia was recovered in the reanimation ward, where he was intubated. Our little soldier is still in the hospital, and in the next days the doctors will decide if he will be able to breathe autonomously again or if he should undergo a tracheostomy. As parents, we only want Mattia's best and we will follow  whatever decision the doctors will make in order to improve his quality of life. 

Mattia ha avuto una polmonite che dopo alcuni giorni sembrava essere migliorata ma invece si e' verificato un successivo peggioramento che ha causato un arresto respiratorio. Siamo stati  fortunati e abbiamo mantenuto la situazione sotto controllo avendo a disposizione il necessario per rianimarlo. Subito dopo con un ambulanza è stato ricoverato d'urgenza in ospedale nel reparto di rianimazione dove subito è stato intubato. Il soldatino e' ancora ricoverato e nei prossimi giorni si deciderà, in base alla sua capacita' di respirare autonomamente, se staccare il ventilatore o se e' il caso di fare una tracheotomia. Noi vogliamo solo il suo bene quindi qualunque cosa decidano i medici per migliorare la sua qualità di  vita e le sue condizioni,  noi saremo d'accordo.

Art for a Cure arrives in Potenza! Thanks to Stange Opera, our curator Rossana Calbi e Cibo' Bistrot, a new stage for Art for a Cure will be hosted in Potenza, starting from February the 23 to March the 23, 2014.  7 artists joined to support Mattia and his cause and to give hope. Featuring art by: Antonella Caraceni, Gerlanda Di Francia, Paulina Góra, Selena Leandrini, Bethany Marchaman, Paolo Pedroni, Valeria Perversi. Be there and fight the Sandhoff disease with us and powerful art!

Art for a Cure arriva anche a Potenza! Grazie a Strange Opera, la nostra supercuratrice Rossana Calbi e Cibo' Bistrot, si apre una nuova fase per Art for a Cure, a partire dal 23 Febbraio fino al 23 Marzo, con una selezione di opere di 7 artisti che si sono uniti alla nostra causa e donano speranza alla ricerca. In mostra ci saranno le opere di: Antonella Caraceni, Gerlanda Di Francia, Paulina Góra, Selena Leandrini, Bethany Marchaman, Paolo Pedroni, Valeria Perversi. Unitevi a noi e all'arte nella lotta alla sindrome di Sandhoff!
